GENERAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO OUR TOURS:
RESERVATIONS: Reservations can be guaranteed only upon receipt of a deposit of $300
per person. Checks can be made out to AIT Inc., or your group organizer.
Remittance of your deposit confirms that you have read, understand and agree to
the terms and conditions detailed on this page with regard to the Reservation
and Cancellation Policy, as well as the Responsibility and Tour Conditions, and
that you have been offered trip cancellation insurance. The final balance must
generally be received in AIT's office no later than 70 days prior to departure
AIT 560 Midwood Drive, Brick, NJ 08724 Phone: (732) 513-1813 Fax: (732)

Failure to submit final payment when due will be interpreted as your wish to
cancel from the program. Your name will be removed from the list of
participants and the cancellation policy will apply as though you had sent us a
written statement requesting to be cancelled from the program.
A $50 handling charge will be applied for checks returned to AIT for any
reason.
CREDIT CARDS are no longer
accepted, except by special arrangement and with a 5% surcharge to defray the
cost of the credit card companies' charges.
DEVIATIONS: Participants wishing
to deviate from scheduled program dates (depart earlier or return later than
the group) should purchase the LAND ONLY and the airfare separately, which will
result in a higher total cost. (Group airfare does not apply when not flying with
the group in both directions).
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: (This
clause is general. Actual fees are quoted on the brochure pertaining to the
particular tour). There is a $150 per person administrative fee for
cancellations received in writing up to 90 days prior. All cancellations must
be in writing. For cancellations received thereafter the cancellation fee is
$300 plus any unrecoverable funds already spent on your behalf, including, but
not limited to, non-refundable airfares and penalty restrictions governing
same. If cancellation of a participant creates a single room for a roommate
(for which there is an additional charge), the single supplement must be paid
by the person still traveling, or by the person cancelling. Name changes and/or
the transfer of tour monies from one person to another are not permitted. No
refunds will be given for unused services once a tour has begun. You are urged
to purchase trip cancellation insurance, and by sending in your payment you
confirm that such insurance has been offered to you.
A VALID PASSPORT is needed by
U.S. citizens for all our tours. Non-citizens are responsible for proper
documentation and visas. AIT cannot be held liable for passengers who are
denied entry to a country or countries due to lack of or improper documents.
Participants who may wish to travel to other countries while on a tour must
check with foreign consulates directly to determine what is needed. Many
foreign consulates require that you apply for visas as early as 3 months prior
to departure and that you have a valid airline ticket or verification regarding
your proposed travel plans. If you need your airline ticket from AIT, please
bear in mind that we must have payment in full prior to sending your final
documentation.
SINGLE SUPPLEMENT: The single
supplement varies depending on the tour chosen. Contact AIT for actual cost if
the supplement is not listed. Please note that the number of single rooms
available is extremely limited, usually to 10%, which means that for a group of
40 passengers we request 4 singles at our hotels. We need 2 of those singles
for our driver and our tour director. Sometimes hotels will allot more singles
if available. There is no reduction for three or more persons sharing a room.
FINAL DOCUMENTS including
airline tickets, if needed (most carriers now work with electronic tickets),
AIT luggage tags, hotel itinerary, etc. are generally sent by First Class mail
approximately 2 weeks prior to departure.
RESPONSIBILITY and TOUR CONDITIONS
for AIT Tours: Angersbach International Tours, Incorporated, whose head office
is located in Manasquan, New Jersey, as the sole tour operator for this
program, and/or its agents, act only in the capacity of agent for the
passengers in all matters pertaining to travel by plane, rail, bus, rental car
or any other conveyance. A.I.T. shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or
loss occasioned by neglect or default of any company or person engaged in
providing any of the services included in the programs, or of any hotel proprietor
or car rental organization or other person. Verbal promises of any kind made by
anyone other than an officer of AIT cannot be honored. In the unlikely event
that AIT must cancel a tour program for whatever reason, AIT's sole obligation
shall be to make a full refund of all monies received. The airlines concerned
are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time
passengers are not aboard their plane or conveyance. The passage contract in
use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract
between the airlines and the purchasers of the tour and/or the passengers.
Neither the operators (and/or their agents) nor the airlines concerned are to
be held responsible for payment of any refund for unused services once the tour
program has begun.
